We left Texas for Puerto Vallarta 15 October 2012 so that we could spend my 65th birthday in PV. We stayed at the Holdiday Inn resort located in the Hotel Zone. The hotel is an older hotel but well maintained. The staff provided excellent service and the hotel pool and grounds were exceptional. The Holiday has three restaurants on the property. One has a buffet all day. The food was very good. I am late in starting posts to the blog because the internet connection at the Holiday was not strong enough to upload pictures, however, it was good for Facebook and email.
