Christmas at Home Depot
Indications that Christmas will be here soon have appeared in all or our stores including Home Depot. The poinsettias here in Mazatlan are much prettier than what we normally see in the U.S. They are available all over the city. Entrepreneurs set up temporary outlets with pots and poinsettias and or live Christmas trees and poinsettias. These at Home Depot were about $55.00 (MX pesos) or $4.30 (US).
Many of the Christmas decorations in the Home Depot and elsewhere are the same or similar to those in the U.S. but many are very different. For example some of the Christmas balls for trees are about 6" -8" in diameter. They use lots of ribbon on trees. Artificial trees are much higher than in the U.S.
