Jeanette likes to sew. So as you can imagine I get pulld to sewing and cloth stores early in our Mexico travels. Cloth stores are abundant in the downtown area of Mazatlan. As you can see from there are two on opposite corners, Modatelas and Telas Parasino, across from the downtown market or Mercado. There are another three cloth stores within 1/2 a block.
Once your cloth cut the sales person will give you a ticket and take your cloth pickup area. You then proceed to a cashier booth where you will present your ticket and pay for your purchase. Here you may wait in line for 15 to 30 minutes. You then proceed to the pick up booth where you may wait for another 15 to 30 minutes.
I must confess, I do not know much about cloth. I seldom read the labels on my own clothing selections to see the type of cloth. Jeanette is impressed by the type, design and cloth selections available. She indicates that there is much more of a selection than our cloth stores in the U.S. today.
